We won’t stop until every First Nations individual and community is healthy, independent, and free.

Why Transformations?

Transformations addresses the unique needs of First Nations communities. Our programs tackle the difficult issues that arise from residential schools and long-standing systemic failures.

Transformations is based on a new pedagogy of experiential learning that elevates the impact and retention of our content. From the start of the process, we create a safe place for participants to be open and honest and to experience themselves and community in new and transformational ways.

"Transformations is an experience that will be with me forever."

How We Help

Traditions such as drumming, honouring the land, smudging, fires, and talking circles are all integrated into the process.

Our approach is holistic, addressing emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental health. We focus on creating a safe, compassionate space where everyone feels supported, and participants discover a new way of being.

Whether it’s through our monthly events, youth camps, or team development processes, Transformations is committed to the health and wellness of the First Nations of Canada.

“Transformations really opened up my eyes to a whole new world.”

Our Values

Health
Transformations believes in being healthy emotionally, physically, spiritually, mentally, and financially by providing processes to heal from past traumas and build a healthy future.
Love
Love is at the heart of everything we do at Transformations. We create a safe and compassionate space where everyone can feel valued and understood. Shame and punishment do not work, but love wins...every time.
Continuous & Neverending Improvement
We are committed to continuous and neverending improvement. Transformations is always improving the process, and our follow-up process is there to support individuals in their personal growth, long after the 5-day experience.

Our Story

Transformations began in October 2015 with an invitation to assist a First Nations community that was facing significant challenges. While it was only supposed to be a one-time event, since that initial experience, we have grown to the point wheere more than 2,000 people have participated across 68 events with over 163 nations participating.

Our vision to support the needs of First Nations communities continues to expand and the next chapter is still to be written. Join us!
